Terms of Use and Membership Agreement

1. Parties

This agreement is entered into between Adil Onur Karahan Şahıs Şirketi (the “Company”), operating at Kızılırmak Mah. Ufuk Üniversitesi Cad. No:12 İç Kapı No:3 Çankaya / Ankara, and the person using the Race Of Words mobile application and website (the “Platform”) (the “User”). By using the Platform, you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the Platform.

2. Account

• You may use the Platform as a guest, by registering with your e-mail address, or with your Google / Apple account.
• You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide during registration is accurate and up to date, and for the security of your account and password.
• Opening an account on behalf of another person, and selling, renting or transferring an account, are prohibited.
• Users under the age of 18 must use the Platform under the supervision of their parents or guardians.

3. Fair play and community rules

• Cheating, using bots or automation tools, and exploiting game vulnerabilities are prohibited.
• Insulting, harassing or threatening other players, and hate speech, are prohibited.
• Inappropriate usernames, profile photos or clan names may not be used.
• The Company may suspend or close accounts that violate these rules without prior warning; in such case, no refund will be made for the virtual items in the account.

4. Virtual items and purchases

In-game items such as coins, power-ups and chests are virtual items that can be used only within the Platform and have no real-money value; they grant you a personal and non-transferable right of use and cannot be converted into cash. Purchases are made through Google Play or the App Store; your card details are not transmitted to the Company. Since digital content is performed instantly, there is no right of withdrawal pursuant to Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Regulation on Distance Contracts; refund requests are subject to the policy of the relevant store.

5. Advertisements

The Platform is free of charge and displays advertisements. Watching rewarded advertisements is optional. By downloading and using the app, you are deemed to accept the display of personalised advertisements based on your interests; you may turn off personalisation at any time in your device settings.

6. Intellectual property

The name, logo, mascot, visuals, word and question content and software of the Platform belong to the Company. They may not be copied, reproduced or used for commercial purposes without permission.

7. Continuity of service and liability

The Platform is provided “as is”; it is not guaranteed to operate without interruption or error. The Company may change the game content, features and economy from time to time. Without prejudice to cases in which liability cannot be limited by law, the Company’s liability is limited to wilful misconduct and gross negligence.

8. Closing your account

You may request the closure of your account and the deletion of your data at any time by means of the Data Subject Application Form. Once the account is closed, virtual items cannot be recovered.

9. Amendments, disputes and entry into force

The Company may update these terms; the current text is always published on this page and enters into force on the date of its publication. The laws of the Republic of Turkey apply to disputes; the Courts and Enforcement Offices of Ankara, and, for consumer transactions, the Consumer Arbitration Committees, have jurisdiction.
